THE THREE P'S OF DOVER FIRST
We are thankful for the people:
- Each and every person who serves the Lord with their time and/or talent on a daily, weekly and yearly basis
- Who are creative and fearless in spreading God's Word

- Who are loving and kind
- Who are passionate and hardworking
- Who are full of spirit and praise
- Who open their homes, share their food and the clothes off their backs
- Who brave the weather to help our oldest members into the church on Sunday morning
We are thankful for the place:
- An elevator so our members who can no longer climb the steps can still participate in all activities
- A safe and secure facility to meet for Worship, Sunday school, prayer group, brown bag lunch, computer classes, scrapbooking, etc.
- A room to host the Adult Education classes at no-charge
- Working ovens to bake Moravian sugar cakes
- Freezer space to hold the Cooking and Serving from the Heart meals
- Air conditioning in the heat of the summer and heat in the cold of winter
- A well-kept Social Hall with tables and chairs that are used for soup and sandwich luncheons, family game nights, rally day kick-off breakfasts, blood drives, school meetings, Hospice training, hospital retiree dinners, baby showers, wedding showers, Christmas parties and Compass Kid’s Club
- An abundance of musical instruments
- Bibles for all ages
- Handicap accessible restrooms
- A living room to serve everyone from the grieving family to the joyous bridal party
- Peanut-free rooms to keep our littlest members safe

We are thankful for our purpose:
- To lead all people to Jesus Christ.
- To obey God's commands.
- To value and nurture spiritual growth.
- To encourage Christian service.
