High Seas Expedition Exploring the Mighty Love of God VBS 2010 ~ June 14 – 18 Time to register for VBS!!!!     Members and friends attending the First Moravian Church may pre-book their passage by May 24 at the High Seas Travel Agency in the lobby and receive a gift.      All other friends and guests may book their VBS passage from May 24 through June 15.   In order to ensure the safety of all attending VBS this year, we will accept registrations for 24 preschoolers and 75 elementary youth.        Register Online

It’s almost time for our vast voyage to begin with our High Seas Expedition.  Mark your calendars now to volunteer or attend a swashbuckling journey through God’s Word, and discover that God shows his powerful love throughout Scripture during VBS 2010. Here are some facts to get all hands on deck:    *Everyone, from preschoolers to adults, will be awash with fun Bible learning they can see, hear, touch and even taste! *Each day will be filled with amazing Bible voyages, crazy crafts, tasty goodies, wild games and rockin’ music. *Kids will discover how to see God in everyday life - something called God Sightings.  Our ship’s captain, Julie Burrell, and the High Seas crew are coming ashore in preparation for an awesome week.  They will be charting the passage and scanning the dock for volunteers, donations and prayers to make our 2010 VBS smooth sailing!     So stop monkeying around and get onboard!       SPECIAL ITEMS NEEDED FOR VBS    Fishing Nets Anchors Light Houses Captain's Hats Lanterns Scuba Equipment Metal or wooden buckets Life Ring Buoy Nautical Flags Maps Rope Lights Wooden Barrels 3 Large Bouys Ship's Wheel Sea Gulls   If you have any of the items listed below that we can borrow for VBS, please let Julie Burrell (364-8831) know as soon as possible.  Borrowed items will need to be delivered to the church by Sunday, June 6.   We would like to incorporate as many of these items as possible into our decorating plans.      *Please label all items!   Thank you for your help!
