New "Tweaks" in Adult Sunday School Discipling:

Seeds of Faith ~

            "Living Well with Cancer and Other Chronic Illnesses"

Based on the 23rd Psalm as her backdrop, a new support group will be offered this winter. This incredible small group for comfort and support will help those affected by cancer, either personally or in their family, to help them cope with all the issues that arise when the "C" word is used. Dianne Ackerman will lead and guide the participants through a time of discussion, prayer and insight surrounding the whole issue. We invite you and yours to join us Sunday mornings in room 213 from 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. A sign-up sheet is available in the lobby.

The Seekers Class ~

This winter beginning January 8th the Seekers class will try a new curriculum called "Feasting on the Word". It is a Bible Study based on the passages assigned to the Pastor for worship that morning. Therefore, the participants will dive deeper into the assigned texts for the day. The Elders believe this approach may even enrich the worship experience and biblically deepen the experience for the participant. Jim Booth will lead the experience in the downstairs kitchen (basement) from 9:15-10:15. Pastor John will also participate initially in the program as it gets off the ground.
